Little Note
Dear reader,
A very Happy Deepawali to you and your family, from mine to yours.
May this festival of lights bring you abundant joy, success, good health, wealth, and love. May the Lord shower you with everything your heart truly desires.
Lately, I’ve been overwhelmed by the love you’ve been showing for my writings. Honestly, I never imagined in my wildest dreams that one day I’d write something and someone out there would actually read it!! I started this blog back in June 2024 with a simple intention. Many times, I would scribble my thoughts in my diary or on random scraps of paper… and then lose them later. I wanted to organize those, and more than that, I wanted to make writing a habit; because I always felt lighter after I wrote. I also wanted my words to stay safe, even after I’m gone. So, I created this personal blog to write whenever I felt like it.
I didn’t plan to share it at first. But one day, without much thought, I posted the link to my very first write-up on my WhatsApp story. (That article is back in drafts now because… well, I was embarrassed after re-reading it). Still, 8 of you clicked and read it! I was thrilled — people actually checked what I’d written!
After that, I kept journaling quietly here but didn’t share the links. Then I wrote an appreciation post for my mom. I showed it only to her, and she teared up, she loved it deeply. Later, on her birthday, I decided to post it publicly as a little reminder of her beautiful personality. Unexpectedly, it crossed 200 reads! I was stunned. Even on the months when I didn’t post anything, I noticed people still visited my page. That was my sign —that I should keep writing.
So, I began penning down every thought that crossed my mind… and you kept reading them. In July this year, I started Wednesday Window, a small idea that became my favorite ritual. My goal was to be consistent in writing. Be it a piece of journaling, a poem, a short story, or even a little rant, I wrote something every Wednesday. And honestly, it started to feel like I was talking to you through a real window every week. Whenever one of you messaged me, commented, or sent a little email about how a post made you feel, it made my entire day. Thank you for reading, for sharing on your stories, and for just being here.
The past few weeks have been such a surprise for me! Even before I posted the links, I noticed that my Wednesday Window posts already had 6–7 reads. That means some of you bookmarked my page. And that means the world to me. I hope wherever you are, you’re doing great and excelling at what you love. Right now, I feel so lucky to have reached so many of you. Some of us haven’t even met in person, yet you’ve been such a constant, comforting presence in my life.
Now, a little update. I might not be regular on Wednesday Window for a while. Studies have me tied up in all directions, and I’m struggling to find the right balance. If you don’t see me at the Window, don’t be surprised. I still have a few ideas running in my head, and I’ll surely write whenever I can. Maybe not every week, but whenever my brain whispers, “It’s time to write.”

ReplyDeleteI swear your posts are like diyas — simple, bright, and somehow manage to light up my mood every single time I read them. Also, I’m convinced that your “Wednesday Window” secretly has magic powers… because even my procrastination takes a break to read it 😅
Keep writing — we’re all still standing right outside that window waiting for your next post.
Ohh how sweet! Thank you so very much for your kind words. I'm so glad, I'll write more often:)
